Journal Californian Desert
Beyond the city was the California desert. The landscape shifted from dry terrain and sharp rock formations to long stretches formed by heat and time. Met locals who spent their lives working in this arid region. Stories shaped by decades of living with the land. The heat was on as we hiked in forty degrees C, with my Olympus Mju in hand. Rewarded with the desert bloom, colour breaking through the landscape.
