Days in Marrakech
The trip to Marrakech to shoot a Monki Spring campaign felt like stepping into a sun soaked dream. The city itself became our backdrop, its colors, textures, and local rhythms infusing the storytelling. Between shoots, I wandered through nearby streets, finding beauty in small, unplanned corners that didn’t ask to be noticed, abandoned market carts and worn seventies motorbikes, all offering glimpses of Moroccan life. Visiting the Yves Saint Laurent Museum was a must, though I didn’t expect it to hit with such force. The lush garden was the perfect tropical escape in the surrounding desert. Inside, the air was charged, as if the walls held echoes of a long and glamorous past, and Yves’s emotional connection to Marrakech felt almost tangible. Shot on film.
