Journal Monki Autumn/Winter BTS
The Monki autumn campaign shot in Paris. Thick air, old buildings, nonstop noise. It-girl Fil Xiaobai was our Autumn/Winter ambassador. Working with favourite photographer Jesse Laitinen again. I captured some of the moments between takes with my Olympus Mju when Fil drifted off in thoughts or lighting a cigarette. Our styling pad was squeezed into a narrow Paris backyard. A woman living there stepped out with her tiny dog, who strutted like a local celebrity, stealing our hearts.
